Kart Owner Rules

  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to race and may be removed from the premises.


  • Drivers must wear the same-day issued wristband on their wrist. Affixing the wristband to your shoes, bumper or anywhere else will result in non-admittance to the track. 


  • No sharing of driver wristbands. Sharing/tampering a wristband will result in a one year suspension. Wristbands are provided for insurance purposes and cannot be tampered with.


  • Nobody other than CKC staff can open the roller gates for track access - no exceptions


  • Nobody other than staff shall enter the hot pit or track at any time. This includes parents, coaches, and mechanics. Entering the track will result in dismissal for the day and possible suspension.
  • Helmets and appropriate safety gear must be worn at all times


  • All cameras must be safety wired, even on practice days.


  • All weights need to be painted white, with each identified with name or kart number, and double nutted with a 35mm washer. This includes all practice days.


  • Do not stop on track - for your safety


  • Abusive behavior to track staff or other drivers will result in dismissal for the day and possible suspension.


  • Reckless driving will not per permitted


  • Please respect your fellow racers and have fun

Rental Karting Rules

  • No one under age 13 is allowed to race.

  • All racers must watch the safety video before racing


  • Kart assignment - Grid Marshall will assign you a kart number


  • Empty your pockets - secure valuables in car or lockers


  • Helmets and must be worn in karts at all times
  • Stay in your kart until requested by track staff to get up - this is for your safety.


  • Long hair must be tucked away.


  • Seat belts must be buckled always


  • Do not stop on track - for your safety


  • Stalled kart - put hands in air


  • Brakes - always brake in a straight line before a turn


  • No bumping or blocking - kart contact is not allowed


  • Please respect your fellow racers and have fun

Tents and Temporary Structures

Attendees agree to comply with all staking, strapping, and permitting requirements mandated by the Colorado Karting Circuit, South Metro Fire Rescue, Arapahoe County Airport Authority, and the Arapahoe County Building Department. Furthermore, by setting up any tent or membrane structure at the Colorado Karting Circuit facility, the participant accepts full liability if their structure fails to remain within its designated pit location or causes damage to any person or property. Any violation of these terms and conditions will result in immediate ejection from the facility and may incur fines and damages, as determined at the time of the violation and at the sole discretion of the Colorado Karting Circuit.
